Seventies Retro at StreetFeet with the Adidas SL 72
Well, it seems to be a day of retro goodness here at StreetFeet’s headquarters in the Chichester office. Only a few short moments ago I was sharing some of our 1980’s related goodies that are availble through our ebay site with some of our Twitter and Facebook followers and now I find myself spinning back to the 1970’s to discuss an iconic trainer made by the good people at Adidas.
The Adidas SL 72 is a replica of the original 1972 version that was made as a podium shoe for the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. This is a very faithful replication of that original shoe and manages to capture the vivid detail of the original with vintage style finishing to create a genuinely aged retro look to the outsole, midsole and uppers.
